Meet Your Vineland Dentist

Dr. Walter Hinman, DMD.

Dr. Hinman grew up in South Jersey and took an unconventional path to dentistry. After working as a union carpenter out of high school, he pursued a career that combined hands-on work with helping people.
‍
He attended Rowan University, joined the US Army through the Health Professions Scholarship Program, and graduated from Temple University’s dental school in 2017.
‍
From 2017 to 2021, Dr. Hinman served as an Army dentist, including a nearly six-month deployment aboard the USNS Comfort in 2019, providing care across South America, the Caribbean, and Central America.
‍
The experience reinforced his belief that accessible, compassionate care changes lives.After practicing in Media, PA from 2021 to 2025, he returned home to New Jersey and purchased Vineland Dental in 2026.

His standard is simple: no patient leaves without understanding exactly what’s happening and why—a principle he and his team uphold every day.

Meet the‍ team

We are real people who live in and around the Vineland community. We're committed to making every visit feel like you're in good hands, because you are.
Tania Gomez-Perez
Front Desk & Treatment Coordinator
Tania is usually the first face you'll see and the first voice you'll hear — and she wouldn't have it any other way.

With four years at Vineland Dental and a background spanning both the front desk and chairside assisting, she has a genuine understanding of what patients need at every step. Her goal is simple: make sure every person who walks through the door feels welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of.

Outside the office she's spending time with her family and staying active.
Sandy Stites
Office Manager
Sandy has been part of this practice for 26 years — back when it was known as Vineland Dental Arts — and she's the kind of person who knows every patient by name.

As both office manager and a Registered Dental Assistant, she keeps everything running smoothly while making sure patients always feel heard and treated fairly.

She's excited to carry that same commitment forward under the new direction of Vineland Dental with Dr. Hinman.
Tara Pakyz
Dental Hygienist
Tara has been a dental hygienist for 33 years and brings the kind of thoroughness that patients genuinely notice.

She's known for being detail-oriented and encouraging, the type of hygienist who helps patients get back on track without ever making them feel bad about it. Her goal for every visit is a thorough checkup and lasting habits patients can actually maintain.

Outside the office she's spending time with her family and grandchildren and staying active.
Deborah Ronchetti
Dental Assistant
Deby brings 30 years of dental assisting experience to every appointment, including 25 as a Registered Dental Assistant.

She spent 14 years at Vineland Dental Arts before joining the new Vineland Dental in April 2026, and her approach hasn't changed: every patient matters, every visit counts. You might notice her scrubs and earrings always matching.

Outside the office she's out trying a new restaurant with her husband or spending time with her golden retriever.
Ashley Esquivel
Dental Assistant
Ashley has been part of the team for nearly 5 years, spending most of her time chairside but jumping in wherever she's needed.

She's focused on making sure every patient leaves with a clear understanding of their treatment and what comes next, no confusion, no surprises. You might recognize her by her bold eyeliner and signature eyeshadow.

Outside of work she's making memories with her son or treating herself to a shopping trip.
